The stage is the first thing your audience sees. Make it count.

Custom staging and certified rigging for corporate events that demand more than a standard platform. Built to your specs. Built to hold.

Stability You Can Count On

Staging and rigging, engineered for your event

A stage is not just a platform. It is the physical foundation of your event. It determines sightlines, it shapes the audience experience, and it has to support everything you put on it safely. The pain point most clients bring to us is that they have been quoted for standard staging that does not fit their vision, or they have safety concerns about flying heavy video walls and lighting rigs in older venues. MMPAV has been engineering custom staging and certified rigging for 25 years. We work with the latest modular staging systems and load-rated rigging hardware because older equipment introduces unnecessary risk. But more importantly, we have ETCP-certified riggers on staff who understand structural loads, wind ratings, and venue-specific requirements. Our clients come back because the stage was exactly what they asked for, and it was safe.
  • Custom builds, not off-the-shelf:
Platforms, risers, and set pieces are designed around your theme, your venue, and your program. The stage fits the event. Not the other way around. We use CAD-based design tools and 3D visualization so you see what the finished stage will look like before we start building.
  • Certified rigging, no exceptions:
ETCP-certified riggers handle every fly point for lighting, video, and scenery. Load calculations are documented. Safety compliance is not optional. This is particularly important for events in non-traditional venues where the building was not designed for rigging loads.
  • Configurations that serve the audience:
Thrust stages, in-the-round setups, multi-level designs. The geometry is chosen to maximize sightlines and create the experience you are after. Repeat clients tell us this is where we add the most value, because we design for the audience experience, not just the technical requirement.
  • Fast, clean load-in and strike:
Experienced crews move efficiently. Your venue timeline is respected. Load-in does not become the story of the day. We have worked in venues with four-hour load-in windows and convention centers with multi-day builds. The pace adjusts to the situation.

Finding the Right Partnership

Is this Solution Right for You?

MMPAV takes on a limited number of productions each quarter. We want to make sure this is the right fit before we go further.

A good fit if you

Need platforms, runways, or complex set pieces
Fly heavy lighting, video, or scenic elements
Require load calculations and safety sign-off
Want unique stage geometry or branding

Probably not a fit if you

Use existing venue stages or basic platforms
Use ground-supported, lightweight gear
Have venue rigging that works as-is
Use standard flat-floor setups

How it works

Staging and rigging involve engineering, permitting, and safety certification. This is the sequence we follow to get it right.

I. Needs assessment and design

We evaluate your event requirements and create detailed stage plots and rigging plans before any fabrication begins.

II. Engineering and permitting

Structural calculations are completed. Drawings are produced. Any required permits or venue approvals are handled.

III. Fabrication and preparation

Custom elements are built. All gear is inspected before it leaves our facility.

IV. Installation and load-in

ETCP-certified riggers execute setup on site with safety checks at every stage of the process.

V. Strike and site walkthrough

Clean removal and a final walkthrough to hand the venue back in the condition we found it.
